Tamil Nadu Lateral Entry Counselling 2014 - 2015
Alagappa Chettiyar Engineering college (ACCET) affiliated to the Alagappa University, Karikudi conduct the counselling for admission into the B.E, B.Tech 2nd Year courses and would release the Notification for Engineering Lateral Entry Counselling 2015 of Tamil Nadu 2nd Year.
ACCET will hold the counselling during the month of June July 2015 for all the Private and Govt Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Concerned Authorities are yet to publish the counselling dates, however tentatively Application Forms would be issues to eligible candidates during the month of May where the form needs to be updated and sent back before June end.

Lateral entry BE/B.Tech admission 2015 Tamil Nadu
Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai has announced calling for applications from Diploma Holders in engineering/Technology and B.Sc Graduates for admission to Second Year B.E/B.Tech Degree courses during 2015-2016 under LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME. And the seats are available in Government, Government aided engineering colleges, some self financing colleges and Anna University .
Lateral Entry Application from Issue Notification :
Anna University will issue application forms for second year BE/BTech degree courses, under the lateral entry scheme, for the 2015-2016 academic year from May 13 to June 6.
Applicants can get application forms for seats in government, government-aided and self-financing engineering colleges. The application forms will be issued between 10am and 5pm at the following centres across the state.

What is the cost of Lateral Entry Application form ?
The cost of application form is Rs.300/- for others and in respect of SCA/SC/ST candidates, the application form will be issued free of cost on production of attested Xerox copy of the Community Certificate.
Fees Payment format for Lateral Entry application
The cost of the prescribed Application form should be in the form of Demand Draft from any Nationalized / Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Second Year B.E. / B.Tech. Degree Admissions – 2014, Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi” payable at Karaikudi.
Application form can also be obtained by post from “The Secretary, Second Year B.E. / B.Tech. Degree Admissions 2014, Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi – 630 004” by sending a separate self-addressed envelope of size 35 x 26 duly affixing stamp to the value of Rs.50/- along with a Demand Draft for the prescribed amount with a requisition letter.
